Moisturizer

My skin is red, dry, has uneven color, breaks out at times, and is dull and losing its elasticity. Is there a cream for that? Have you been to a cosmetics counter or store recently? The choices are endless.

The sales help is knowledgeable, but usually very, well, young. How can they recommend or choose one product over another? It can’t be from experience.

Seriously, how many serums, creams, scrubs, vitamins, peptides, hormones, or minerals does one person need?

What happened to Oil of Olay; even that has more than one formula. And don’t forget about price. The cost of some youth serums could feed starving children for a year. What’s in this stuff? Or do we want to know? All I want is a cream that makes my skin feel smooth and doesn’t cost a fortune. OK, I do want it to even out my skintone, and maybe take away some redness, and can it brighten my skin too? So I guess I have to pay those high prices for all the research, and testing(not on animals) and doctor recommended products.

I do feel though that it is important to change products now and then. Mixing different products and ingredients can only benefit your skin. Try changing it up seasonally, or when you notice a difference in your skin. Price should not always be an issue, check ingredients and compare products that way. Also check product recommendations in magazines. They are usually well tested and approved, and vary in price.
